Our Mission
We are excited to bring field hockey to Lawrence, Kansas by offering clinics, camps, leagues, and club teams. We envision field hockey becoming a household sport across USA. Our programs are designed for players of all skill levels. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced player seeking to refine your strategies and skills.
Our Goals
Introducing field hockey west of Kansas City to Lawrence and Topeka Kansas.
Teaching the modern game of field hockey.
Enhancing individual player skill development.
Fostering teamwork and the qualities of being a great teammate.
Encouraging smart decision making on the field.
Maintaining a fun and enjoyable atmosphere during practices and games.
Assisting players in developing valuable life skills.
Creating opportunities to compete with other Midwest teams.
Long- term vision of introducing field hockey at the high school level in Lawrence, and we are committed to working with local schools to make this a reality.
Establish an active community of University of Kansas students to coach and play alongside us.
EQUIPMENT
Field Hockey sticks will be available to borrow at our programs
We will have field hockey balls for our programs
Shin guards and mouth guards are required
For turf fields we recommend tennis shoes or cleats
